Tangkoko birdwatching tour
Tangkoko Nature Park, located in Batuputih Bawah near Bitung, is a premier destination for birding and wildlife photography. The park’s diverse ecosystems ranging from lowland rainforests to mangroves and coastal areas provide habitats for a high concentration of endemic species. On our tour, we welcome both experienced birdwatchers and photographers, as well as those who are just starting to learn about birdwatching. The tour starts at 5:30 am and returns to the cottage around 11 am for lunch. After a short break, we will continue the trip again at 3 pm until 7 pm. The tangkoko bird targets we will see in a day are as follows : Red knob hornbill, Green back kingfisher, sulawesi lillac kingfisher, Ruddy kingfisher, Sulawesi malkoha, Ashy woodpecker, White necked myna, Green imperial pegeon, silvertip imperial pegeon, Grey headed imperiaal pegeon, Black nape fruit dove, Sulawesi myna, Sulawesi hanging parrot Etc.
